About Me

I was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and graduated the Stringed Instruments Making department of the Technical School for Wood Crafting and Interior Design in Plovdiv in 1987.

I make violins and violas and repair instruments of the violin family and their bows. Also repair classical guitars.

After certain period of working in a violin making factory I found that there is nothing creative in exact replication of the old maker's instruments. Now having my own workshop I am working on improvement of my own style, combining my personal point of view on the acoustical and aesthetical aspects and some details inspired by the old Italian violin makers.

My instruments are made of well naturally seasoned spruce and maple from the Balkans and Alps mountains, varnished mainly with spirit varnishes.
